    As a Proposals Account Manager, you will be the liaison between the Sodexo Corporate Services, working with the sales team who handle high end multi service and integrated facility management services to major corporations, and our Creative Services team, the backbone of the RFP process.  The position is located in Gaithersburg, Altamonte Springs or VIRTUAL. 


    Your role:

    Act as the subject matter expert, providing support & ideas to best market the segment to perspective clients.


    Work as an effective project manager to make sure the RFP process is seamless and transitions well between teams. 


    Have experience in complex sales, creative marketing, project management and customer service.


    Understand the sales process from beginning to end; experience in business development. 


    Be knowledgeable on the intricacies of the sales process from beginning to end, especially the RFP process.


    Have the ability to manage high quality standards within tight deadlines is essential.

    Position Summary

    The Segment Account Manager manages internal client relationships, provides strategic segment expertise. The Account Manager exhibits ability to gain deep knowledge in specific channels or vertical markets as required by specific client’s business unit and segment’s industry. For select Tier 1 assignments, the Segment Account Manager will participate in brainstorming sessions. In addition, the Segment Account Manager will collect competitive insights, offer thought leadership on how best to market company services and ensure accurate delivery. The Segment Account Manager maintains high quality standards despite pressing deadlines; always striving to do work right the first time.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 
    Basic Management Experience - 5 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
