What You'll Do

1. Micropilot and Prototype Build Support
The CHILL prototyping team engages in a number of different kinds of prototyping and micropilot engagements. Your role would be to support the build, installation, and maintenance of some of these projects, including user experience and user interface elements.

This role requires expert skill in traditional UI/UX software including Photoshop and InVision.
Design of UI/UX in some cases may involve travel to customer locations.

2. Update and Maintain Technology Knowledge Base
Working with other prototyping engineers, you will update and maintain the CHILL team’s central technology repository, which is a wiki. This includes maintaining UI resources, as well as updating for new technologies.
This responsibility requires clear and succinct written communication skills.

3. Addition of New Technology Modules
There is an opportunity to research, buy, and add new technology modules to the central repository. This should be driven by the passion and interest of the UI/UX designer.
The new module must be clearly explained and easy to use, so this requires clear written communication skills, as well as the ability to teach new concepts.

4. CHILL Living Lab Support
During the CHILL Living Labs, the UI/UX designer will provide design support to the build team engineers. These are generally two day events that happen 3-4 times a year, and include an overnight build.

CHILL Living Labs are typically held in San Fransico, but may require travel for other destinations.

CHILL team members both exemplify and deliver agility – continuously balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders, through a necessarily accelerated process, with the ultimate purpose of driving business growth via real solutions that change the game for all parties involved.
