Provider Data Analyst - Telecommute (750665)

Position Description

The Provider Data Analyst is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Provider Data Analysts develop and maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Other responsibilities include conducting audits and providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and may be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles.
This position in Provider Operations Root Cause Team (RCT) receives projects from Network and Customer Service partners, which processed incorrectly due to an issue with the provider record. The RCT’s role is to research provider record defects, ensure correction of all issues, coordinate correction as needed, and prepare analysis or supporting documentation for reprocessing.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
  • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
  • Solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
  • Work with minimal guidance; be resourceful in identifying solutions
  • Provide clear explanations and information to others on difficult issue
  • Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
  • Translate concepts into practice
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ of behavioral health provider data loading and / or audit experience using CSP Facets, OHBS Facets, NDB/UNET, or Cosmos
  • 2+ years’ of behavioral health claim processing experience
  • 2+ years’ of experience in managing cross-functional projects 
  • 2+ years’ customer response / customer service experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft in Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in data analytics – data tracking, trending, and reporting
  • Working knowledge of ing policies and procedures
