Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is a Joint Commission approved and state licensed facility for 88 beds, which includes pediatric units, adolescent girls, adolescent boys, and MISA (Mental Illness Substance Abuse) unit. We are committed to providing youth with compassionate treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. Lincoln Prairie provides treatment to children and adolescents (ages 3-17) that present with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. Lincoln Prairie offers an array of outpatient programs. We provide educational programs, enhanced Occupational Therapy services, Recreational Therapy, Art and Music Therapy, while utilizing a holistic treatment approach. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, direct, delegate, coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members and in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The RN will ensure that all patients will receive optimal care and that the unit duties are completed. This position will work various shifts, around4-8 hours per week. The primary responsibilities are as follows: Provide quality, professional, psychiatric nursing care. Coordinate and delegate the nursing care within the prescribed treatment plan. Assure compliance with applicable laws pertaining to psychiatric treatments. Provides supervision to all nursing staff assigned to the unit. Maintain all data and records.
