We are privileged to have a rich compliment of dedicated employees.  With a growing demand for our services, we are currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), to provide psychiatric care to hospital's patients in conjunction with a supervising psychiatrist.

Job Requirements



  • Masters Degree in Nursing

  • Must have a psychiatric specialty.

  • Experience:

  • At least one year inpatient psychiatric experience working with patients with needs similar to the patients served by the facility.5 years preferred.



  • Current Nurse Practitioner License.

  • National Certification.

  • Current North Carolina Driver’s License

  • Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of appropriate assessment and evaluation tools and tests, diagnoses, & interventions with patients.

  • Knowledge of milieu management.

  • Knowledge of acute adult, adolescent, and child psychological disorders

  • Advanced knowledge of principles of abnormal psychology

  • Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.

  • Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

  • Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical record documentation
