Job Description

Join Inland Northwest Behavioral Health today and provide help, hope, and healing. We are currently seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for our anticipated September 2018 opening of our Spokane, Washington hospital.

It takes a passion for meeting the behavioral health needs of our communities and a special experience that meets the high expectations patients have come to expect of the Fairfax Behavioral Health team. We are expanding into Spokane County as joint effort with Providence Health & Services with a 100-bed psychiatric hospital on the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center campus. You could be a part of our newest team.

As a credentialed member of the Medical Staff, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position duties include rounding on patients and completing admission screenings. The Nurse Practitioner will work as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team on our 100 bed unit serving adult and pediatric patients.


Job Requirements

Graduate from an accredited Master’s degree program of adult or family advance registered nurse practitioner professional required.
Experience:  A minimum of five (5) years of experience in primary care or urgent care preferred.
Licensure:  Current Washington State ARNP license with prescriptive authority.
Additional Requirements:  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; successful completion of Show of Support, including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, and successful completion of the Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation programs within 90 days of employment.
