Position Summary:
Laurel Heights Hospital has an exceptional opening for a Part-Time or Full-Time Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to work in a Specialized Residential Treatment Center (RTC) and Acute Inpatient Unit. Laurel Heights Hospital is recruiting a new Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our expanding service line. This position is offering great growth opportunity for those passionate about the field of autism and developmental disabilities. There is opportunity for professional and personal growth working with a diverse patient population, other physicians, clinical staff and administration. A highly competitive compensation package of salary and benefits will be offered. THE POSITION DUTIES: • Will work with Autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities diagnoses • Conduct admission assessments and evaluations on new patients • Provide treatment team leadership • Will work in collaboration with Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional patient care for assigned unit. THE PHYSICIAN WE SEEK: • BC/BE Child Adolescent Psychiatrist with experience and/or interest in working with Autism • GA license or ability to obtain. COMPENSATION Laurel Heights offers our physicians a highly competitive Independent Contractor model with an option given to those interested in an Employment Model. THE FACILITY Laurel Heights Hospital centrally located in Atlanta, GA is a private residential treatment facility serving children and adolescents with a wide variety of behavioral health issues requiring both shorter stays and long term treatment. Our acute, short term Inpatient unit focuses on those patients with either an intellectual or developmental disability or Autism Spectrum Diagnosis. Additionally we offer general residential treatment as well as an Autism Spectrums Disorders Program and Therapeutic Foster Care Services.
