Position Summary:
Description/Purpose Of Position:
Responsible for analyzing, reviewing and making recommendations for facility and system wide projects, related to purchasing and materials management for the Valley Health System reducing costs and achieving efficiency in materials management utilization.

Responsible for analyzing, reviewing and making recommendations for facility and system wide projects, related to purchasing and materials management for the Valley Health System reducing costs and achieving efficiency in materials management utilization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Associate Degree in Finance, Business Management, Mathematics, or equivalent experience involving purchasing/materials management.

Experience:
Four years experience in purchasing involving two or more aspects of purchasing to include detailed analysis, compilation of data and user support systems.

Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other common windows applications.

Other:
Healthcare experience preferred
