The Pacific Region Central Purchasing Office (PRCPO) facility is located in Murrieta California. It is one of two Central Purchasing Offices within UHS. Our office currently supports 14 UHS Hospitals. 

The PRCPO currently has a Purchasing Coordinator (Temp) position available.  The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:

The candidate selected will be responsible for providing support to the purchasing process including expediting, confirming orders, contacting vendors, point of contact for facilities, answering CPO mail telephone line. The position will work with the Purchasing Specialists to ensure the process from order placement to receipt of product is complete and meets the customer’s requirements.

Job Requirements

The following are the job requirements for the Purchasing Coordinator position:

This position must work effectively with other employees, facilities, vendors, and other outside parties. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and writing. Customer focused, providing service consistently exceeding expectations to both internal and external customers. Proficiency in supply chain/EFP applications & Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and others as required. Ability to prioritize needs and to manage resources/time effectively. Performs other duties as assigned/required. Working with Buyers or Purchasing is preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
 Attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi task.
