The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for a variety of tasks to assist with the development and ongoing evaluation of data integrity control, employee production quality evaluation and tracking, maintenance of departmental data and quality reporting to departmental leadership. Day to day quality assessment, research, tracking and maintenance are integral functions of this position.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Data collection and evaluations for departmental processes and employee work streams
  • Coordinate, develop, implement and evaluate departmental data integrity control for STARS measures and operations
  • Interacts with management and specialists in gathering data, analytics and process knowledge to perform tasks related to assigned activities
  • Assessment of data integrity needs for the M&R STARS Operations department through investigation, analysis and evaluation
  • Provide detailed analytical support and quality reporting to departmental teams and management, both internally and externally
  • Confer with M&R STARS Support staff to understand and document sources, characteristics and limitations of information they provide; help prepare and clearly present findings to departmental leaders for process optimization and quality assurance
  • Assist with training document preparation; provide additional assistance and support as needed
  • Create, and utilize existing process design documents as required; to include data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, quality programs and other documents
  • Maintain quality assurance tracking and reporting for at the employee level and assist with quality reporting roll-up for departmental status
  • Work closely with department management to interpret and develop content and processes that will be utilized to make strategic business process decisions based on quality assurance and data integrity
  • Manage multiple priorities at the same time
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • 1+ years of reading / processing medical data or quality assurance process experience
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Excel (ability to filter, sort, and update data)
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Word (ability to create and edit documents)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior quality assurance and data integrity experience
  • Working knowledge physician / healthcare information

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to write clear, professional communications for internal and external contacts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
