Quality Improvement Clerk - Ontario, CA (751516)

Position Description

Responsible for administrative and clerical tasks associated with the Quality Improvement team.  Performs various other duties, and provides as-needed support to the Corporate Services Department.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating supplemental data in the fax queues and assigning to QI nurses

  • Tracking job aides and department resources that are distributed by QI nurses

  • Responsible for maintaining and organizing supplemental data in storage room

  • Will assist in creating and organizing meeting packets throughout the year

  • Responsible to make outbound phone calls to members for quality initiatives throughout the year

  • Responsible for preparing member mail outs and performing Quality Assurance checks on envelops prior to mail out

  • Will be responsible to complete fax blasts throughout the year to all IPA offices

  • Responsible to ensure that all fax blasts were received by offices

  • Will track and send reminder notices for data reminders or information request to recipients

Required Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a clerical / administrative position

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook


 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English / Spanish

  • Previous Healthcare experience / exposure to medical terminology

  • Proficient communication and organizational skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Working knowledge of office devices and processes

  • Able to handle multiple tasks as assigned
