**ROLE SUMMARY**



Working as a partner to the Director, Operations, EMU, and STS the Quality Asset Leader is accountable for all activities required to test/disposition product and ensure overall compliance of all processes included in the AB asset. Additionally, is accountable for the assurance that all activities related to processing, testing, and disposition for the product(s) is/are in full compliance with government regulations and internal company standards and values







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Leads the efforts of Quality personnel responsible for the monitoring, testing, and disposition of the product in compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, values, and goals



+ Responsible for final disposition decision



+ Responsible to the asset for GMP compliance of the AB manufacturing facility



+ Management of all AB Quality personnel



+ Directs, oversees and participates in the recruitment, selection, promotion, termination, and performance management of Quality employees and other critical matrixed roles.



+ Partners with Director Operations, providing feedback on performance of non-Quality personnel.



+ With Director Operations meets with cross-functional management staff to evaluate production process needs, resolve problems and obstacles, provide resources. Reset direction and maximize effective interactions and functioning.







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline (Chemistry, Engineering, Biology preferred)



+ Advanced degree preferred



+ 12 -1 5 years experience in pharma/biopharma industry, 8+ years management experience. Training in QA, QC, manufacturing processes, experience dealing with Regulatory compliance. Experience in problem solving, process improvement, negotiations and supervision of highly matrixed organizations

Some travel may be required but expected to be minimal.
