Responsibilities

  • Conduct Black Box, functional verification of software applications using existing test cases or the creation of new test cases.
  • Create test cases to validate features or software functionality either thru manual and test automation/scripts.
  • Maintain existing automation test scripts.
  • Create new automation test scripts using test automation tools or languages such as Java, C#, Groovy etc.
  • Log defects found, follow up on issues created, and update test cases to verify bugs fixed or not fixed.





 


Preferred Requirements

  • Some familiarity with JavaScript, or other scripting language
  • Strong customer focus and perspective
  • Keen ability to trouble-shoot issues found
  • Natural curiosity about how things work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter
