Job Details

The Sr. Maintenance Supervisor is the first line coordinating, administrative and managerial focal point for maintenance. The position provides the necessary overview and planning to maintain a cohesive organization that provides the facility with technical services for equipment and facility maintenance. The Sr. Maintenance Supervisor coordinates all maintenance responsibility related to manufacturing in a specific area on a specific shift. The incumbent must insure proper coordination of activities with other business units within the facility.

Controls maintenance operations budgets. Directs skilled labor in testing, evaluating process changes, modifying equipment, and maintenance of equipment and facility. Coordinates maintenance activities with other organizations at plant and division levels. Ensures cGMP compliance and conformance to all regulatory requirements. Ensures professional and quality performance on all activities undertaken, meeting time, cost, cGMP and regulatory requirements.

Provides motivation and work environment conducive to producing technological resolution of problem areas and establishes necessary contingency plans.

Identifies opportunities for equipment improvements, develops alternative solutions for problem areas and assists manager in contingency plans to prevent repetitive problems.

Sets goals for long-rang maintenance planning and operating profit performance improvement. Provides interface on key maintenance issues and problems with plant management.

Maintains all equipment and/or facilities within area of assignment. Provides emergency breakdown repair service at any time.

Performs these and other duties as necessary or required, the inclusion of which with not alter the basic scope of the position.
