Who You'll Work With
You will provide technical leadership in solution requirements definition, setting technical direction for product evolution based on deep understanding of customer requirements. You will work collaboratively with technical peers and business leaders, within Cisco and externally, to define a differentiated end-to-end network architectures and solutions. You will be responsible for creating detailed marketing collateral targeted for both Technical Decision Makers (TDMs) and Business Decision Makers (BDMs) and perform competitive analysis of offerings from various other vendors. This may include paper analysis as well as driving cross-functional testing efforts.
* Present Cisco's Collaboration products and architectures both internally and externally to Cisco.
* Support field personnel in pre-sales technical consultations and customer meetings.
* Support customers and sales through email aliases, customer calls, EBC, and etc.

Who You'll Work With
As a Senior level Technical Marketing Engineer (TME), you will support Cisco's Classified Network Services organization within US Public Sector Advanced Services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical leadership and support for Collaboration technologies by working closely with engineering and sales teams to define next generation solutions, and communicate technical requirements to stakeholders. You will be required to work collaboratively across various technology organizations including sales and services."

Who You'll Work With
You will have extensive experience in a collaboration technology engineering or telecommunications environment. You have thorough knowledge of Call Manager, and Cisco's Hosted Collaboration Solution technologies. 
Our minimum requirements for this role: 
- Ability to specify technical requirements for meeting stringent customer compliance needs
- Minimum Qualification
− BS Computer Science/engineering
− At least 5 years of experience in a business unit engineering environment or in a Solution Architect role

Desired Skills
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and skills in the following areas:

− MS Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent preferred.
− Strong foundation in collaboration architectures  
− Experience with Cloud Management technologies such as OpenStack
− Excellent knowledge of Agile Methodologies with relevant experience in all phases of a Product Life Cycle
− Ability to present to senior level executives both inside and outside the company
− Ability to work independently with only minimal management oversight.
− Excellent written, oral and presentation skills along with superior interpersonal skills
