What You'll Do
Role & Responsibilities
Cisco seeks a strong technical leader and communicator with a broad and moderately deep understanding of Cisco's solution portfolio and IT in the industry to help lead delivery of engineering services to clients. In this position, you will be responsible for the engineering integrity of existing services offers in addition to leading the engineering efforts of future service offers. Success in this role necessitates a deep understanding of Public Sector customers and B4B market changes. This is a great opportunity for someone with this background and passion to apply their knowledge and experience in a role that is in the center of a high growth area for Cisco

DUTIES:
* Solve customer technical issues within solutions as part of the escalation path, requiring a systems integration mindset to uncover root cause.
* Develop engineering strategy & plans to address business needs and opportunities followed by leading teams to execute the plans where success is measured by business success criteria, made possible thru sound engineering decisions and high quality technical work. 
* Working with IT and other stakeholders, be responsible for the adaptation and development of engineering tools and systems integration for services delivery across the portfolio
* Assume leadership role in Services or cross-functional teams to drive engineering programs and/or product improvements. Participates in major cross-functional projects affecting Cisco business, product, or service leadership
* Represent Services in Executive Briefings both internally and with customers
* Work with little or no direction and be mindful of organizational goals and objectives. Independently identify complex issues and resolves complex problems that impact strategic direction. 
* Work with the Service Delivery Executive (SDE) and Solutions Integration Architect (SIA) to develop an overall strategy for engagement execution 
*Provide direct technical leadership to the Network Consulting Engineers (NCE's) assigned to engagements including reviewing their deliverables
* Act as a SPOC (single point of contact) for service delivery in certain customer accounts.
* Will be assigned as an NCE to work on the larger strategic Contact Center or Security projects in the Region

Minimum Qualifications
* Must be a CCIE in the disciplines of either Security or Contact Center
* Requires BS or equivalent and 10+ years overall experience, including 5+ years in management of large product or solution operations programs 
* Experience with supporting Public Sector clients
* Experience in Cisco Advanced Services delivery

Desired Skills
* Excellent leadership, management, communication, influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution, team building and problem solving skills. IT industry and business perspective. Experience working with customers and cross-functionally. Ability to work well with many levels of management as well as technical contributors. Record of successfully leading and delivering product development programs from conception thru development, test, deployment, and support.
*Live in the Los Angeles area 
*Able to meet with clients on a weekly basis

The Advanced Services Delivery team for SLED for SoCal. The team is very customer centric and focused on developing long term relationships with our Clients. We also draw heavily from the IDT's to support execution of our engagements. We supporting cutting edge technology including ATA, ACI and Tetration.
