**Job Title:** R2R Senior System Analyst

**Responsible to** : R2R Manager

**Job Purpose:**

From an operational perspective, the R2R department has a number of Corporate and Statutory accounting responsibilities.

The R2R Systems Accountant is a key role within the R2R department in achieving process excellence by providing specialist technical and process knowledge. The Systems Accountant is a key link to global process and solution owners and represents the department in global forums. Keys areas of focus for the Systems accountant are:

+ Key Systems Support (SAP/E1/Hyperion)

+ Development of SAP Super User Network

+ Continuous Improvement and Innovation

+ Departmental Training

+ Project Support, both global and local

**Job Description:**

+ Providing support to the R2R department teams in terms of technical and process design

+ Develop and support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives. Have a good understanding of one of the following: TQM, Six Sigma, LEAN.

+ Link between operational teams and Business Technology (BT) to highlight technical requirements and trouble-shoot technical issues

+ Driver and key influencer in respect of large-scale process change initiatives

+ Promote, manage and support the SAP Super User network within R2R

+ Develop and drive BI Power User Global Forum

+ Support ERP adoption drive best practice throughout the department

+ Develop relationships with global process and solution owners

+ Develop and implement system enhancements while considering global impact

+ Develop process flows, work instructions and training documentation

+ Monthly metrics reporting for R2R department

+ Review and maintenance of Excel-based tools to support R2R activities

+ Ensure that all change requests/transactions are handled in accordance with Pfizer policies

+ Support ad hoc activities and projects

**Education, Skills and Experience Required**


+ University Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or IT

+ Qualified Accountant desirable (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)

**Skills & Experience:**

+ Experience in US GAAP and Local GAAP financial reporting processes

+ Strong R2R Process knowledge

+ Experience with SAP, E1 and GL functionality and chart of accounts master data

+ Hyperion experience an advantage

+ Strong Systems/Project management skills

+ Understanding of a Controls environment

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

+ Experienced MS Office user with knowledge of Excel macros and pivot tables

+ Demonstration of people management skills including ability to manage change and influence groups

+ Strong communicator with proven influencing and presentational skills

+ Ability to work independently, to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

+ Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and vice versa

+ Experience in working in a global environment with multiple stakeholders
