Peachford Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Receptionist.

Located in the beautiful Dunwoody neighborhood of Atlanta, Peachford features individual units for children, adolescents, adults and seniors, serving residents of Georgia and beyond. We offer inpatient acute care, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. (www.peachford.com)

The Receptionist will facilitate the orderly admission of patients to Peachford Hospital, balancing the patient’s comfort and ease with the organizations operating needs and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Answer and respond to telephone and face-to-face inquiries promptly and in a pleasant, courteous and clear manner.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of hospital emergency code response procedures.

  • Provide routine hospital-related information to callers and visitors.

  • Sign for, receive, and route incoming mail, including courier deliveries.

  • Provide back-up clerical support to other departments.

  • Greet and respond to applicants for employment.

  • Maintain a safe and secure lobby area.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and safe work practice.

  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Support facility internal and external customer service standards. 

  • Follow Peachford Hospital Time and Attendance policy.

Job Requirements

HS diploma or GED. Individual must have strong customer service and communication skills. Experience with high call volume and experience in healthcare setting preferred.
