Job Details


+ Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) is a PGS-wide effort to design, implement, and sustain a Pfizer production system, with an objective to reach world class manufacturing practices and performance across the PGS network

+ This role oversees overall IMEx deployment within the region, managing and optimizing the deployment leads in the EU region - planning, staffing, coaching, and overseeing the full team

+ The incumbent will be the main point of contact on behalf of the IMEx organization for 2 OpUs as well (Biotech and API), helping develop network-wide plans for IMEx with Ops VPs and overall leadership

+ The incumbent will also be the primary point of contact for key operations leaders (VPs, site leads, SLTs) assisting with planning, deployment, tracking, and other ad hoc support for all Network Excellence activities at sites in support of delivering cost, quality, and supply in the network


+ Support IMEx leadership in deployment strategy; Engage closely with IMEx center team on day-today program management

+ Support and guide deployment leader(DL) teams to ensure successful installation of IMEx according to IMEx operating standards and standard deployment approach

+ Plan, optimize and track deployment resources

+ Work closely with Operating Unit and site leadership to explain IMEx impact and approach, to troubleshoot issues and engage stakeholders on key decisions

+ Support DLs in value analysis, planning and training of site leadership team

+ Support DLs in first installation of ecosystems; Delivering full integration between ecosystems (integrated grouping of lean capabilities) and elements (operating standards that together outline a set of activities for performance)

+ Support sites during rollout as needed and ensure full codification of learnings and tools; Maintain up to date materials

+ Coach the DL team to develop and enhance their capabilities in engagement, facilitation, planning, execution and troubleshooting

+ Provide input to the design and refine efforts based on site feedback; Maintain consistency across regions on the design and deployment approach

+ Track impact and value delivery at install sites


+ Bachelor or BS degree in a Technical or Business field with 15+ years of relevant experience; Master degree in business administration or technical discipline a plus

+ Deep understanding and/or experience in lean production systems, process excellence and performance improvement tools, techniques and concepts; Lean and Six Sigma experience a plus

+ Ideally experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing or an understanding of pharmaceutical industry

+ Excellent communication skills to enable interactions at various levels in the organization; Ability to interact with and influence broad spectrum of PGS leaders and colleagues

+ Experience in coaching and developing large teams

+ Able to effectively hold people accountable even if in senior or peer relationships; Acts decisively

+ Proven ability to take on and solve complex problems independently

+ Proven capabilities in program management; Experience in successfully executing projects with large teams

+ Strong proficiency in Excel analytics and PowerPoint materials geared for senior audiences

+ Fluency in English required
