What You'll Do

You'll help drive Cisco's transformation by focusing on the key drivers to scale new offers globally. One of Cisco's top priorities is to enable recurring revenue and other new business models, and it's critical that we apply a global lens to our transformation efforts and drive penetration into new growth markets internationally. The Country Enablement team is looking for a Regional Engagement & Solution Lead to support this new charter.  The focus of the role is to drive globalization of Cisco’s monetization models, with a primary focus across Greater China region.  This role is also responsible for the on-going strategy and governance related to the region’s legal entities, including identifying and eliminating barriers to support the business strategies.

 

Who You’ll Work With

Our team works with a very broad set of global and local business partners and stakeholders, including Sales, Product Business Units, Finance, Tax, IT, Legal, CPS, and Services. Country Enablement is a part of KC Wu’s Operations Architecture organization. We drive the strategy and portfolio for enabling and enhancing local buy-sell entities, and also lead the alignment across teams to ensure that regional business requirements are addressed as part of our transition to a recurring revenue based business model.

 

Who You Are

You are very familiar with Cisco’s sales and operating model across Greater China, understand the complexities of the regions buy-sell entity structures, and have experience navigating between local needs and requirements, and balancing those with global priorities and standards. You are excited about the areas of Software and Recurring Revenue models at Cisco, with a focus on global expansion. You are excited to be part of the change and transformation.

 

Our requirements for this role:

·       Solid understanding of Cisco's business, and the impact of local country requirements on global business policies and processes

·       Ability to exercise cross function influence and advocacy in support of regional goals.

·       Outstanding communication skills and ability to clearly articulate highly complex topics.

·       Strong collaboration and facilitation skills to manage a virtual team of experts in different areas to execute on activities.

·       Independent, self-starter with proven new project/initiative management experience.

·       Cross functional negotiation, change management, problem solving and global thinking skills.

·       Ability to see and plan the big picture including solid understanding of how the different pieces interconnect with each other through projects and deliverables

·       Fluent in both English and Mandarin
