Regional Finance Director – Behavioral Health
This position will be directly responsible for regional financial operations within the UHS Behavioral Health Division. The Regional Finance Director will have oversight of a number of Behavioral Health Hospitals within the 225 facilities UHS owns and operates.

Essential Job Duties:
• Primary functions to include financial statement accuracy, operational efficiency and accounts receivable management conduct monthly financial statement and operational reviews. The process is undertaken to subject the monthly financial statements and results of operations to an independent review and identify potential reporting errors or concerns. Any material misstatements of the financial results are corrected prior to the corporate consolidation and SEC reporting process.
• Identify, analyze and assist in the presentation of new business opportunities.
• Analyze, discuss, and make recommendations, with facility management teams and corporate administration, the financial impact of proposed operational changes
• Recruit, manage and develop facilities' senior financial staff, CFO’s, Controller’s, Accountants, Business Office Managers.
• Analyzes, discusses, and makes recommendations, with facility management and corporate administration, the financial impact of proposed operational changes.
• Develops guidelines, assists facilities and reviews annual budget preparations
• Develops standardized and current policies procedures and reporting mechanisms related to financial operations, reporting, and systems conversions at the facilities.
• Works closely with CEO’s and Regional VP’s of Operations to coordinate financial and operational activities in the Group.
• Provide all necessary financial support to facilities that have CFO vacancies. Including filling in as acting CFO when needed.

 
Requirements

Job Requirements:
• Minimum education requirement of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
• Eight years or more progressive experience as a CFO within an inpatient hospital setting. Experience as a Behavioral Health Hospital CFO is preferred.
• Experience as a hospital based Divisional CFO, Regional CFO/Controller is preferred.
• Experience directing hospital based Medical Records (HIM), Business Office, Materials Management and Accounting departments.
• Experienced with information systems conversions, excellent computer skills on various systems. McKesson, Hyperion, Lawson, Excel.
