         Regional Manager Sales – Data Centre Sales

              What you’ll do

              Cisco seeks a Regional Sales Manager for driving Data Center business in India. Requirements include a strong technical knowhow  in  server, storage, networking & Cloud software. Excellent executive-level communication skills, building customer and partner relationships. This role involves positioning and promoting Cisco Data Centre  products to   customer & partners including establishing value proposition for Cisco's solutions. You will work for  development and expansion of opportunities, and reinforcing existing relationships in the market with customers and partners. The ideal candidate possesses strategic business and technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment.               Who you’ll work with

              Will be responsible for an quarterly booking/revenue quota  with significant growth in subsequent years. Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that maximize Cisco opportunity within the customer environment. Lead a strong product sales specialist team to achieve and exceed sales quota and provide mentoring and coaching to the team on a regular basis. This position is responsible for accurate forecasting and managing health of business by delivering on all business parameters. Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this assignment. Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process. Extensive travel may be required. Must be able to lead a geographically dispersed team, with both direct and indirect reports. Will need to make important resource decisions that apply both corporate and account team resources to new opportunities. Will work closely with various stakeholders in Account Management teams,  Channels, finance & Engineering & Business Unit based out of US

              Who you Are

An Engineering & MBA  graduate degree preferred. Sales management in similar business environment of Data Centre technology. 18+ years of sales experience. Specific examples of closing large, strategic deals. Knowledge of market trends and strong connects in the industry and partners. Strong leadership skills in a cross-functional teaming environment. Selling solutions to large customers.. Developing customer relationships. Understanding a broad range of Cisco technologies required
