You will be leading a dynamic sales team covering the Joint Mission Region. The ideal candidate possesses strategic technical knowledge and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment.

 

This role involves:

·       Leading account managers in the development and expansion of opportunities

·       Positioning and promoting the partner value proposition

·       Reinforcing existing relationships

·       Travel (estimated 50%)

 

Requirements:

·       Strong background in executive-level communications

·       Building customer and partner relationships

·       Knowledge of global markets

·       5 or more years of sales leadership skills in a global teaming environment

·       Understanding of a broad range of Cisco technologies

·       Strong, cross-functional collaboration skills

·       Experience leading a worldwide team, with both direct and indirect reports

·       Strong working experience within the Joint Mission

·       Secret clearance, with a TS or higher clearance preferred

·       US Citizenship

·       BA degree, MBA or graduate degree preferred

 

Responsibilities:

·       Meeting annual booking/revenue quota of $200+M

·       Developing and executing sales strategy and tactics that maximize Cisco opportunity within the customer environment

·       Accurate forecasting

·       Direct customer contact (comprises a major portion of this assignment)

·       Using sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process

·       Motivating and developing the team Account Managers, Systems Engineers, and Systems Engineering Manager

·       Territory planning and segmentation
