Dealertrack, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for a Regional Training Manager to join our team in North Hills, NY.

The Training Manager is accountable for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans and process to support organizational goals.  They are responsible for educating team members and customers on existing product functionality, new product releases, and maintaining all documentation on our products including how they are installed, supported and used.   She/he also may coordinate the efforts of team members in other departments who are Subject Matter Experts needed for creation of course content, consultants to teach advanced customer training classes, and audio/video talents needed for creation of web-based training.  She/he is responsible for the development of all curriculum and materials needed to meet the training objectives.

Your Role:

  • Develop training content that is effectively tailored for the targeted audience.
  • Facilitate and deliver training effectively for the targeted audience.
  • Oversee the organization and development, of training manuals and instructor guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.
  • Resolve and respond to training issues and questions from clients and employees on the application and interpretation of OTTS and CMS.
  • Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services provided to clients and the organization.
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure the full utilization of training facilities, process, resources and equipment.


  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience required
  • Auto finance experience preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities
  • Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills required
  • Experience within a training environment
  • Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including e-mail messaging applications, Microsoft Word, and Excel, Power Point, GoToMeeting
  • Ability to be proactive, self-motivated and self-directed
  • Capacity to work in a fast changing environment
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Other duties as needed or required
  • Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements.
