As a Regional Vice President (RVP) in Individual Life Insurance, you will be part of Prudential’s expanding Independent Distribution Channel. You will increase the sale of Prudential’s life insurance products through brokerage general agencies and independent producer relationships in the Midwest, including Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
  • Meet or exceed sales results within assigned territory through brokerage general agencies (BGA) and independent producers
  • Partner effectively with National Account Executives and other internal business units to develop and execute individual sales plans with selected distribution partners
  • Meet or exceed activity requirements deemed necessary to achieve sales goals
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Prudential's products, services and programs and effectively use knowledge to compete and win in the marketplace
  • Identify and recruit producers within assigned territory
  • Provide initial and on-going training to BGA and individual Producers within the territory on the use of Prudential’s products and services
  • Practice effective compliance, recordkeeping and expense management
  • Ability to operate in regulated business environment

 Our ideal candidate has:
  •  Successful track record of life insurance sales experience
  • Deep understanding of independent distribution models
  • Knowledge of advanced sales concepts
  • Strong presentation and seminar selling skills
  • Ability to build and manage relationships effectively
  • Ability to train and work with internal sales desk associates and external wholesalers
  • Understanding of financial issues and key profitability measures
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resourcefulness
  • Local market knowledge and industry awareness
  • Position requires approximately 50% - 75% overnight travel
  • FINRA Series 6/7 and Series 63/66 Registrations and State Life & Health Insurance license required
Experience and Education:
  • Professional designations (e.g., CFP, CLU, ChFC) preferred
