Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Children's Minnesota.  Position is scheduled to work 24 hours per week with the Eating Disorder Program in St. Paul and help to provide relief coverage in both Minneapolis and St. Paul.  Position reports to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and the ideal candidate will: 


  • Have interest working with children and teens who have disordered eating (anorexia, bulimia, ARFID, EDNOS)
  • Use clinical research, advanced technology, and evidence-based practice to develop patient and family focused treatment plans
  • Be a passionate leader who is willing to stay current with research and literature
  • Demonstrate an interest in partnering on research and outcomes, and willingness to work to understand and improve nutrition approaches within the pediatric population
  • Have excellent communicate skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Be responsible for managing the nutrition care process, including comprehensive nutrition assessments, determining diagnoses and planning and implementing nutrition interventions
  • Have pediatric experience

Position Summary

Responsible for providing direct basic nutrition services
Key Duties
-Provides nutrition care to population served to ensure needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
-Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.
-Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.
-Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexho resource when necessary.
-Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
-Follows operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments..


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience -  Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
