Job Description

Arbour-HRI Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse. Registered Nurses at Arbour-HRI Hospital are part of a valuable team that help manage safety, infection control, and general patient care. Nurses are responsible for nursing tasks in accordance with the established standards of nursing practice in order to ensure quality of nursing care. A full-time registered nurse is scheduled to work 32 hours per week and is required to work every other weekend. This is a day/evening shift float position. The RN who occupies this position will be scheduled for shifts based on preference and hospital need, and needs to be available to work both day and evening shifts. The day shift is 7am – 3:30pm, and the evening shift is 3:00pm – 11:30pm.

Job Requirements

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Consistently identify patient needs

• Develop effective teaching methods

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions

• Monitor and evaluate the effects of patient medication

Requirements

• Must be a registered nurse in the state of Massachusetts

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, physical fitness, and be comfortable working with patients in acute psychiatric distress
