Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital (BGBH), a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), is located on an 11-acre campus in picturesque Fort Washington, Pa., a small suburban town of Philadelphia. Our 146-bed facility provides a safe and comfortable environment for patients suffering from mental illness and behavioral disorders.

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the centralized scheduling of Nursing Department Personnel. He or she must have knowledge of standards and policies relative to scheduling of personnel and must be able to organize and maintain records and logs related to work schedules. Additional duties may be assigned. The staffing clerk must have good communication skills and be able to interact with members of all hospital departments. Contacts appropriate counties to schedule mental health hearings.

Job Requirements

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 

 

Experience:  Experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred, or a clinical rotation in a psychiatric inpatient setting from an accredited institution.

 

Licensure:  Currently licensed to practice by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. 

 

Additional Requirements:

 

Successful completion of all credentialing requirements including but not limited to license, education and employment verification.  Attend all mandatory training as scheduled, including CPR Certification and Crisis Intervention Training.   May be required to work overtime as well as flexible hours.  Must have good verbal, written and basic computer skills.  Drug screen and PPD / TB test required.
