Registered Nurse (RN) – Admissions/Intake Full-time Nights

Turning Point is currently accepting applications for a RN in our Admissions/Intake Department. The Intake RN efficiently and effectively handles inquiry calls; provides facility and program information to individuals, agencies, facilities, and professionals; assesses and triages an individual’s mental health status; makes patient safety and level of care recommendations to physicians; identifies insurance benefits; pre-certifies patient care; makes outside referrals when appropriate; completes all admissions requirements; communicates patient safety concerns and pertinent information to unit nursing staff; and documents all necessary information in computer system. This position works a rotating schedule from 7:00p to 7:00a and enjoys shift differentials and a sign-on bonus. Job Requirements
  • Georgia RN licensure
  • Two (2) years of experience in chemical dependency/mental health treatment, preferred
  • Prior intake and assessment experience with a psychiatric population, preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills required
