**Department Overview**



The Regulatory Operation organisation is a global organisation supporting over 32,000 medicinal applications being submitted to Health Authorities throughout 175 countries each year. We play a vital part in ensuring Pfizer's medicines reach and maintain market position, and are readily available to patients. Across the Pharmaceutical Industry, Pfizer is considered one of the leaders in Regulatory Operations due to our innovation, design, and implementation for new technical solutions, process designs and deployment through the global teams and networks. This role focuses heavily on continuous improvements, project management, and change management initiates which help us retain this "leaders in industry" vision.







**What can I achieve and what will I be responsible for whilst completing a placement at Pfizer?**







The regulatory environment is complex, multifactorial, and constantly changing, providing undergraduates the opportunity to manage multiple, complex issues, and deliver to time and quality standards.







During the year, an Undergraduate will be responsible for:







+ **Project Management:** Oversight and contributing to global projects which define and streamline essential business processes to increase efficiency and reduce time.



+ **Project Leads** : Leading and presenting in meetings to share innovative ideas and strategies which will enhance the implementation of new or revised processes that are driven by internal and external guidelines.







+ **Global Projects** : Executing partnership with colleagues from China, US and India to assist in ensuring the success of a broad variety of global initiatives, projects and business solutions.



+ **Process re-engineering:** Accountability for process development, decision making, and change management in the context of Worldwide Regulatory Operations.







+ **Communication and Change Management** : Developing and maintaining instructional documents, procedures and guidelines to lead our state of continuous improvements.

**When can I start?**







Placements will start on 3rd September 2018 and will run for 12 months.

+ On target for a 2:1 or above Degree Classification



+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
