Description:

The Relationship Management Specialist works fairly independently, maintains and enhances relationships with existing Defined Contribution clients. The Relationship Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction through periodic client meetings and discussions covering service levels, plan utilization, product offerings, and fund investment performance. This role will work closely with sales, recordkeeping and operations staff. The Relationship Management Specialist will participate in final presentations, will be responsible for resolving the most complex problems and is assigned large clients. While this role has overall responsibility for client relations, day-to-day service and administrative issues are handled by recordkeeping or operations staff. A strong Relationship Management Specialist possesses very strong communications skills and comprehensive knowledge of Prudential's products and services


  • 4 year college degree or related business experience
  • Proven excellent customer service skills and progressive probing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills *Strong commitment to timing and quality standards
  • Ability to understand and apply complex compliance concepts
  • Knowledge and understanding of Pension Industry
  • Ability to identify and facilitate issue resolution
  • Proven ability to take initiative
  • Proven prioritization and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to understand and apply new concepts and products 
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to react to change in a positive and productive manner
  • Ability to handle other essential tasks as assigned 
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • NASD Series 6 and 63 required within 120 days of employment.
