What You'll Do

We are looking for a Release Train Engineer in our Customer Success program to support Cisco’s growing subscription businesses. Customer Success is critical to ensuring Cisco customers are receiving maximum value for their subscriptions investments. Responsibilities include:

  • Drives release planning, roadmaps, backlogs and decisions for our Customer Success program
  • Drives program level continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops and constant demonstration of Kaizen mind
  • Encourages team and program level and Communities of Practice around SAFe, Scrum, and Agile program management
  • Participates in enterprise program management improvement and standardization activities

Who You'll Work With

You will work across multiple Cisco functions and encourage collaboration across a diverse team. The focus is on accelerating delivery of capabilities for Customer Success in partnership with Business, Product Management, and IT Delivery teams.

Who You Are

You have a strong background in Scrum and Scaled Agile with experience in Cisco Program Management processes. You have an ability to pivot from Director and Orchestrator to a Servant Leader and able to handle multi-track prioritization and conflict management.


  • 5+ years of experience in Software Design and application development
  • 3-5 years of experience leading Scrum/Agile development teams
  • Prior experience with Scrum Master on multiple teams and engagements
  • Possess strong ability to tackle complex problems creatively, manage risk and influence rapid decision-making
  • Team player and works well in large group environments
  • Highly driven and motivated with a high level of initiative
  • Prior experience as Integration lead, program manager or delivery lead
  • Scrum Alliance CSM, Scaled Agile – SA
