Position Title: Remote Access Engineer

Description:
  • Provides comprehensive consultation to business unit, network management and staffs at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle.
  • Works closely with client management to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.); researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solution for the Remote Access system(s) design.
  • Performs analysis, system design, documentation, testing, implementation and on-going support for extremely complex client side and network systems.
  • Provides highly technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new Remote Access technologies which assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.
  • Acts as expert technical resource in all phases of the development implementation and operational process.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
  • May lead projects with notable risk and complexity.

  • Engineering experience with SSL VPN (i.e. Pulse Secure, Cisco)
  • Engineering experience with F5 LTM.
  • Solid Networking background. We don’t need a CCNA certified individual, but individual needs to understand the OSI model and how the internet works.
  • Strong background with PC, Mac and mobile clients.
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills with relevant experience.
  • Experience with certificates/PKI.
  • Basic web development skills. Standard HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Strong communication & documentation skills.
  • Able to work well with a team.
  • Ability to provide 7x24 on call support on a rotating basis
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
