We are currently recruiting for a Human Capital Reporting Analyst to join our team at our Optum headquarters.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with human capital and business leaders in the development and production of standard and ad-hoc reports related to the organization's workforce
  • Support the weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting close processes
  • Analyze data trends to provide support with leadership and human capital decision making
  • Develop templates for common requests to standardize and streamline work
  • Identify ongoing process improvement opportunities and demonstrate improvement of defined processes in consultation with stakeholders
  • Research and identify root causes for problems and own the resolution
  • Responsible for leading others through influence, rather than direct authority, and by building strong cross-functional relationships with key partners
  • Act as a functional subject matter expert for human capital data and PeopleSoft HRMS based reporting
  • Support projects and change initiatives aligned to key priorities of the Talent Analytics function
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 or more years of experience with human capital, business or financial analysis
  • 1 or more years of experience with the ability to analyze data and recommend improvements
  • Experience in data extraction, manipulation and management
  • Experience researching issues, investigating the data accuracy, and performing quality checks
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Query writing experience  using relational databases
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or other HR system(s)
  • Working knowledge of Human Capital
  • Understanding of SQL
  • Experience with Tableau, Domo or other data visualization tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, Oracle, SQL Server, Datameer, Alteryx or other database applications
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others
