Position Title: Research Analyst - Individual Life Insurance
Job Code: 424418

Description:

Research Analysts conduct investigative research to support Life New Business and other internal business partners. The Research Services Unit evaluates data to ensure that informed decisions are made with full knowledge with whom we are doing business. It also serves to keep the company in compliance with state and federal mandates.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducts desktop investigations through the use of the internet, databases, etc.
  • Prepares detailed reports within the underwriting system
  • Analyzes risk using information based on results of database research
  • Communicates with internal/external customers - verbal and written
  • Meets or exceeds quality, production and service objectives

 


 

  • Advanced computer and keyboarding skills, including experience with internet and database research
  • Detail oriented with excellent research skills
  • Must be able to stay focused and comfortable working at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to work in high volume, fast paced environment
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
