Description We are seeking a highly motivated non-PhD level scientist with experience in immunology to join our team in the discovery and development of novel immunotherapies for cancer. The successful applicant will possess the flexibility and enthusiasm to conduct research as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


+ Perform experiments aimed at immunomodulation of leukocyte responses, including cell based assays and ex vivo analyses, with accuracy and reliability.

+ Modify or establish assays/models to support cancer immunotherapy pre-clinical studies and pipeline development.

+ Analyze data, thoroughly document work, and clearly communicate results in a group setting.

+ Read relevant scientific literature to aid in experimental design.

+ Contribute to a dynamic, exciting culture that embraces teamwork and innovation.

**Training and Education:**

Bachelor's or Master's degree in immunology, or cellular and molecular biology, preferred.

**Prior Experience:**

Master's degree plus 0-4 years of relevant laboratory experience (or a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience) in an academic or industrial setting.

**Technical Competencies:**

+ Experience with cellular immune assays is a must, ideally with primary human T cells and/or myeloid cells.

+ The ideal candidate will have significant experience using flow cytometry to readout immune cell phenotypes and functionality.

+ In vivo experience, particularly with mouse models of cancer, is a plus.

+ Hands-on experience in general molecular biology techniques such as RNA and DNA isolation, qRT-PCR, western blot, and ELISA is preferred.

+ Ability to use appropriate software to perform analysis of biological data is required (Excel, Prism, FlowJo).

+ Experience using an electronic notebook for record keeping is a plus.

+ Must have excellent organization and planning skills, good verbal and written communication abilities

+ A willingness to learn and adopt new experimental skills as needed
