Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a High Performing Resident District Manager with our client Delta Air Lines, the premier US based air travel company located in Atlanta, Georgia.

The position is a highly functioning role working within the clients’ global headquarters. Delta Air Lines places a high value on customer and employee satisfaction and engagement. The Resident District Manager will have direct management responsibility for 12 management positions and a staff of 100 FTE's.


This operation offers breakfast, lunch and catering and numerous Micro-Markets locations.  The ideal candidate will need to be focused on high quality food offerings, consistent retail standards, food and physical safety standards. Being detailed-oriented, well organized with proven communication skills (written and verbal) and possessing strong planning skills are critical to the success of the position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have financial responsibility of the account.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with multiple clients
  • Attend regular meetings, and be visible with all unit operations.
  • Have oversight ofdailyoperations
  • Deliver high-quality food service
  • Maintain and lead a high-end catering department with extremely high-level clients.
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • Develop and execute strategic plans
  • Lead and motivate the management team, inspiring strategic direction
  • Provide Innovation in all aspects of the program
  • Ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments

Position Summary

Functions as the central point of contact for one complex account with multiple locations, and possibly multiple contracts. Oversees performance of unit management including budget development, client relations, sales and profitability performance, conformance with company policies and procedures and staff training and development. Liaison between company resources and unit operating managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
