Position Summary:

Corona Regional Medical Center is a 240-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and an 80-bed rehabilitation hospital.  The inpatient services include: Emergency services, OB/GYN, Pediatric, Medical, Surgical, Intensive Care, Progressive Care, and Long Term Care.  The outpatient services include: Bariatrics, Behavioral Health, Bloodless Medicine, Breast Imaging, Diagnostic Imaging, Home Health & Hospice, Infusion Therapy, Lab Services, Outpatient Surgery, and Physical Therapy, Sleep Disorder Center and The Wound Care Center.  In 2012, CRMC received Awards of Excellence in the areas of Gynecologic and Maternity Care from HealthGrades.  Only 37 hospitals in the nation earned both…we’re one of them! Corona Regional Medical Center currently has a Respiratory Care Practitioner position available.
The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:


Reporting to the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor this position provides respiratory therapy which includes assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation including ABG lab procedures, puncture and analysis and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.  Provides consultation, instruction, and/or technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members.  Does limited cardiology diagnostic procedures.


¨   Minimum 1 year experience in critical care preferred.

¨       Current State of California License in Respiratory Therapy or Applicant Work Permit required.

¨       Current BLS (CPR) required.

¨       A.C.L.S. required within 90 days of start date.

¨       Current NRP required within 90 days of start date for acute care hospital employees only.
Current PALS required within 90 days of start date for acute care hospital employees only.
