Sodexo has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager, with a focus on patient food services at a new Sodexo account in McAllen, TX. Rio Grande Regional offers 300 licensed beds, Expressly for you Patient food, and Retail. There are approximately 40 hourly employees, nonunion, at this full service account.


In this customer focused role, you will be responsible for cash handling and implementing retail standards to enhance the  retail operations and help improve customer satisfaction.  #LI


Responsibilities include: 

  • Maintain food safety program
  • Order/inventory and manage point of sale systems. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Marketing and managing retail food concepts
  • Use Sodexo Retail Menu program, FMS and STG




Position Summary

Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. May supervise less than two full time employees.



Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
