Reporting to our General Manager, the Retail  Manager will support our food service operations busy retail cafe, serving approx. 500 meals per days. We are open 365 days, 7 days a week. Looking for a candidate flexible with the schedule, able to work Holidays and Weekends as needed. Candidate must be eager to learn and advance their career with Sodexo.


Responsibilities and key expectations for this position include:


  • Lead the frontline staff in providing an exceptional customer service experience to the customers we serve
  • Complete daily kitchen inspections
  • Maintain HACCP and safety standards for the operation 
  • Maintain Sodexo's cash handling standards, accounting, and reporting processes
  • Partner with frontline staff to enhance engagement and develop their skill sets
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and customer relationships

Qualifications for the Retail  Manager includes experience in retail food service operations. Prior food service experience in management or customer service preferred. Positio.n requires an individual with exceptional drive and initiative, excellent communications skills and computer literacy. HACCP knowledge and ServSafe certification is a plus

Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.
Key Duties
- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
- Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
- Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers. 



Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
