    Sodexo at North Shore Medical Center is seeking a Food Retail Manager 2 to join our team! In this role you will be directing and participating in all daily retail operations for this 225 bed acute care facility.

    This individual will be directly responsible multiple retail brands, with operational responsibilities consisting of sales, marketing and overall management of key personnel. Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate should have experience in National Brands, HACCP Food Safety, production, reconciliation, event planning; experience in the healthcare industry beneficial.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Ensuring Sodexo Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
    • Labor and food cost controls and compliance
    • Staff training and development for hourly employees working three shifts
    • Excellent customer service
    • Employee scheduling
    • Cash handling
    • Profit and loss analysis
    • Computer Literacy

    Position Summary

    Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.
    Key Duties
    - Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
    - Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
    - Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
    - Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
    - Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
    - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers. 
     

     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
    Basic Management Experience - 1 year
