Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Retail Manager 2 to join our team at Bloomberg in Arlington VA.  Located in the heart of Crystal City, this position oversees a high volume pantry provided by our clients to their employees.  Total MV of 1.5 million.  The client provides pre-packaged snacks, fruit and an assortment of beverages.  You will oversee Sodexo's services which largely focus on stocking, sanitation and equipment maintenance. In addition, this role will manage the catering onsite.  You will arragne for the food to be delivered and then execute setup and clean up for all food requests. 


The Retail Manager 2 will oversee our employee pantries and catering at this location. Strong catering background is required. The Retail Manager 2 will manage 6 hourly employees, including all scheduling, training, development, and payroll. Critical responsibilities include ordering, inventory, fiscal reconciliations, record keeping, and HACCP and Safety Policy adherence. This position requires high scrutiny of available products and rotating specials. This position will also ensure that we are compliant to Bloomberg BNA snack requirements. The Retail Manager will interact with our customers and clients on a daily basis. Excellent customer service and client relations skills are a must!!! Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.
Key Duties
- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
- Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
- Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers. 



Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
