    Sodexo is seeking an experienced Retail Manager 3 to provide operational leadership at  UC Health Memorial Hospital in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO.  This hospital is the regional leader in quality healthcare services and is currently expanding its second location to better serve the community.


    As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for multiple retail outlets at 4 locations, including a high volume Starbucks, a full-service cafeteria, a coffee shop, several physician lounges and a robust catering department. Maintaining high standards in all areas is critical to meet the expectations of our clients and customers, so we are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, a collaborative "Yes we can" attitude and leading industry knowledge that can increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.


    A successful candidate will have experience promoting a safe and healthy work environment, managing through subordinate supervisors, excellent customer service, strong computer skills and the desire to lead a diverse team.


     The best qualified candidates will have:

    • Strong retail food service experience in a restaurant or healthcare food service setting
    • Cash handling experience
    • Experience with catering
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to manage and develop a team of 10 front-line staff

    Position Summary

    Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.
    Key Duties
    - Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
    - Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
    - Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
    - Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
    - Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
    - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers. 




    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
