Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 3 for Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis.   

 

Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis is proud to have served the East Memphis community since 1974. Our 519-bed facility was the first full-service hospital in the rapidly growing area and has continued to grow since we opened our doors. Our 42-acre campus is home to the hospital, two medical office buildings, the University of Tennessee/Saint Francis Family Practice Residency Building and a four-story parking facility.

 

Our Retail Manager 3 will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for the retail café. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing all retail food operations including cafe and coffee shop
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP and menu systems
  • Cash management and cash controls
  • Special projects

Our team works to ensure that patients, families and visitors have a good experience while using our services. As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis features a wide spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services, wellness programs and specialty areas. 

Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.
Key Duties
- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
- Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
- Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers. 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
