The Defined Contributions (DC) Operations Processor at Prudential Retirement is an integral member of our Operations team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a structured, process driven environment and looks to embrace change and adapt/flex as needed.



  • Under guidance of senior processors, this position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll contributions, loan repayments and rollovers into our recordkeeping system
  • Performing a variety of retirement plan transactions, i.e. 401(k), 403 (B), etc.) while applying specialized plan processes and achieving very specific productivity/ quality standards.
  • Work cohesively as a team in order to meet established Service Level Agreements
  • Coordinate with direct team members as well as other internal Prudential teams to request information needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Research plans and apply plan requirements to transactions.
  • Responsible for multi-tasking in a highly organized fashion to work through and revisit tasks when required information is obtained.
  • Navigate a PC based internal workflow system while working with multiple monitors to perform advanced data entry functions


This is an entry-level position.  Incumbents typically receive formal and/or on-the-job training.


  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Transaction processing experience in a fast-paced financial environment strongly preferred.
  • Must possess a desire and ability to gain understanding of retirement industry product and service knowledge and the impact to plan participation and application to daily transactions
  • Proven experience exhibiting exceptional organizational, follow-through, and multi-tasking skills is required
  • Experience working in an environment where use of PC was required at least 50% of time worked.  Experience maneuvering between screens/systems is also required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to follow-through
  • Computer proficient - accurate and fast keying skills as well as experience in a PC-based workflow system.
  • Understanding of Defined Contributions Plan structure, rules and regulations a plus
  • System knowledge including Omni, CFE, and PRIDE a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with others required in order to work in cohesive team and contribute to an inclusive, positive, and fun work environment
  • Advanced alpha/numeric data entry skills required with proven track record of accuracy and meeting high productivity standards
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required
  • Must embrace responsibility for identification of process efficiencies
  • Ability to work additional hours as required to meet work volume will be expected
  • May be required to assist other teams within Prudential Operations team as needed
  • System knowledge including Admin Web, STARS, CFE and ECI a plus
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required
