Overview
We are looking for highly talented experienced software engineers as part of the engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and integrating embedded software for radio front-end, transceiver, and baseband control on the worlds most advanced wireless modems. As part of the core RF Embedded Software Engineering group, you will be responsible for Innovating, designing, and implementing C/C++ embedded drivers for cutting edge RF and modem hardware technology for WWAN standards including: GSM/EDGE, CDMA2000, WCDMA/HSPA, TD-SCDMA, and LTE.
**Candidates should have 1+ years of academic or professional experience in the following:**

+ Experience with development and troubleshooting of embedded software

+ Fundamentals of wireless communication systemsAdditional skills in the following areas are a plus:

+ Experience with development of Layer 1 (Physical) or RF Driver software using the C programming language, for at least one of the following technologies: GSM/EDGE, CDMA2000, WCDMA/HSPA, TD-SCDMA, and/or LTE

+ Experience with RF test equipment measurements for power, spectrum, and waveform quality in at least one cellular standard: GSM/EDGE, CDMA2000, WCDMA/HSPA, TD-SCDMA, or LTE

+ Experience with debugging embedded software using an in-circuit emulator (Lauterbach Trace32 JTAG) for an ARM processor.

+ Experience with embedded build systems including compiling, linking, loading, and executing firmware images.

+ Experience with power and spectrum signal analysis using IQ capture data.Positions available in San Diego, CA and Santa Clara, CA
Education Requirements
Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science

Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
