Description:
Develops, analyzes, and maintains accurate and compelling content for responses to Request for Proposal (RFP) and incorporates it into the Qvidian database to support sales development and business operations. Coordinates and oversees the completion of Consultant questionnaires and databases to position Prudential favorably in the marketplace. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the organization and its products. Skills critical to this role include project and relationship management, working in a matrix environment, and retirement market expertise. Extensive interaction with Marketing, Investment Professionals, Compliance, Operations, and other business partners is expected. Responsibilities may include: Conducting research and analysis to articulate services and products; Developing formal recommendations to address ongoing maintenance of the database and then implement those solutions; Leading efforts to develop new or revised processes/procedures for the team. Candidate will have strategic focus with long-term emphasis on implementation and continuous improvement of RFP content. Possess cross division/company-wide business knowledge. Work to scope, plan and manage complex project efforts, independently and in a team environment. Develops and facilitates team training related to database enhancements.
 
Responsibilities Include:  
  • Lead RFP content development in Qvidian database; ensure database content is current and professionally positions Prudential Retirement's products and services well in a highly competitive environment.
  • Write and edit accurate and relevant responses for RFPs, requests for information, and ad hoc requests; Consult with internal partners to gain technical information needed to craft custom responses; Incorporate new content into the database in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for gathering and distributing firm-wide statistics based on plan type and other metrics.
  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with Marketing and Product resources, and other business partners to leverage their expertise to develop strategic content for new products and services and market positioning of our competitive strengths.
  • Establish and maintain database performance metrics and reports; present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Assist with database upgrades and enhancements, document architecting and software troubleshooting as needed.
  • Complete all consultant database updates on a predetermined schedule or as they are requested.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a Qvidian training program for new processes and enhancements, as needed.
  • Additional projects/RFP Specialist duties as needed

A remote work arrangement may be considered for highly qualified candidates.


 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of previous database management, content management, copywriting, RFP and/or Pre-Sales experience is required.
  • Industry experience in financial services, healthcare, or other relevant industries required; Retirement industry experience considered a plus.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, resourceful, and able to exercise sound judgment
  • Must possess ability to work independently and within the team to meet deadlines and prepare content with the highest degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent editorial skills and attention to grammatical detail
  • Superior client service and partnering skills
  • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
  • Experience with Qvidian or other RFP database software required
  • BA or BS degree preferred; preferably in Business or English.
  • FINRA Series 6 and 26 licenses (or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire)
