Registered Nurse functions under the supervision of the D.I. Charge Nurse. The R.N. assures provision of care to an assigned patient population in a professional manner, utilizing the nursing process and the principles of Continuous Quality Improvement in collaboration with other health team members. They support an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practice the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
2. An R.N. currently licensed by the State of Texas
3. Minimum of 1 year experience as an R.N.
4. Completions of ACLS and PALS course within 3 months of hire and a refresher course every 2 years.
5. Completion of PICC line insertion/care course within 3 months of hire.
6. Competence in the operation of the following Computer software programs: Cerner, OPUS, Midas, Sorian Scheduling, Intranet Web Site, Net Learn Testing, Pedi Code 97, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and IMTS.
