Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking dynamic and talented Registered Nurse to work Evening shift on our Dual Diagnosis Unit.   Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center and offers the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. We are looking for a Full-time Night Shift (10:45p to 7:15a) Registered Nurse to work on our Dual Diagnosis Inpatient Unit as well as be flexible enough to also work on other units when needed. In this role, you will assume responsibility for providing patient care in accordance with established standards of professional nursing care. You will utilize psychiatric clinical skills to provide direct patient care with an emphasis on safety. Interacting as an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team you will provide leadership in the department to facilitate excellent patient care.

On the Dual Diagnosis Unit managing mental health problems while recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction requires a skilled professional who can coordinate treatment tailored to meet the unique challenges facing each individual. You will utilize psychiatric clinical skills to provide direct patient care with an emphasis on safety. The caregiver is required to use integrated evidence based practices of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive behavioral therapy as 12-step approach. Interacting as an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team you will also provide leadership in the department to facilitate excellent patient care.
 

Position Requirements:

  • Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred
  • Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience;
  • ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred. 
  • CPR certification required.
