We are a Joint Commission Accredited hospital providing inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.

Two Rivers is currently recruiting a full-time RN House Supervisor to work the overnight shifts every weekend. The RN House Supervisor provides administrative and clinical supervision to all staff throughout the hospital on assigned shift. The RN House Supervisor is a liaison to department directors and administration to insure coordinated and efficient operations of services and departments. Primary responsibilities include: providing administrative management, prioritization and delegation of duties for all facility staff participation in shift coverage as needed and deemed necessary as part of the nursing administrative team staff and program scheduling and performing direct patient care services. This individual will work in cooperation with hospital leadership, physician staff and other department managers. The RN House Supervisor promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Two Rivers Behavioral Health System.

Job Requirements

Education:  Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Prefer 1 years of clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health and co-occurring population, previous clinical supervisory role in a psychiatric or co-occurring setting preferred.  BSN or MSN preferred.

Licensure/Certification:  Licensure and registration by the Missouri Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse. 

Supervision Received: Nurse Manager/Chief Nursing Officer 

Supervision Exercised: All facility staff during the assigned shift. 

Knowledge:

Must possess knowledge of dual diagnosis/chemical dependency/mental health patients age-specific patient issues, limit setting and behavior management, crisis prevention and intervention techniques medical criteria for acceptance/exclusion of patients all nursing knowledge and responsibilities for the hospital setting working knowledge of infection control practices knowledge and comprehension of regulatory agency standards (DHSS, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.) staff development procedures and requirements ability to communicate orally, telephonically, and in writing working knowledge of computer systems and various software must maintain certification CPR, Verbal De-Escalation, and Handle With Care. Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player. Good documentation, organization and time management skills are necessary. Must be effective in decision-making and problem solving.
